  1. Just finished this episode, and I'm rather enjoying the series so far. Keep up the good work.

In this episode you mentioned as an aside that we still don't know how the great pyramid was built, and I thought you might be interested in the 2009 book The Secret of the Great Pyramid by Bob Brier and Jean-Pierre Houdin. Using modern architectural software they take a stab at answering that question.

It's been awhile since I read it, but I remember that despite my fears about the sensationalist title their answer does not involve UFOs.

  2. Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the episode. After being lucky enough to visit the Step, Red and Great Pyramids back in 2007, I wanted to get across what amazing monuments they were. Thanks for listening!

  3. This has been the podcast since "The History of Rome". I'm loving it. I look forward to getting caught up. Thanks for the great work.
